1.   The Bar / Bat Mitzvah Project:

The Bar Mitzvah Day is one of the most important days in the life of every child. We prepare and accompany the children for the big day. We organize a large and impressive bar mitzvah party, to which the children's parents and family are invited. It's one of the thrilling experiences that the children go through, and the lovely memory accompanies the children throughout their lives. The event is done in partnership between the educational staff and the children

All of the following activities conclude the Bar / Bat Mitzvah year which is accompanied by learning and activities that prepare the child for the transformation from childhood to adulthood.

2. "Achuzat Sarah" on the "Israel Trail":

The "Israel Trail" Project, which includes ten hiking tracks around the country, in order to get to know the Land of Israel. The trips are based on studies from the Bible, history and nature. The goals of the hikes are to develop the love of the land, to meet the challenges, and to experience a unique experience. In this project, the Bar Mitzvah teens go on ten hikes totaling about 150 kilometers, ending their journey by ascending on foot to Jerusalem. This project is in cooperation and participation of employees of Leumi Bank.

3. Parents and Children:

There are “Parents Nights” with the children groups. Groups of mothers and groups of fathers and children meet regularly. The purpose of the meetings is to strengthen and improve the relationship between the parents and the children and to nurture a deeper understanding of the needs of the children, with special emphasis on the solving the problems that the parents and children have in their relationship.

4. The Promotion of Learning Project:

An educational process intended to minimize the educational gaps and nurture the potential of each student, in order to raise the educational level of every child. The children come to us with learning gaps, and the children’s progress is the key to success and integration in society.

5. Psychological Service Hours:

An educational psychologist and a clinical psychologist are employed in the “Children’s Home.”

6. Drama and Music Therapy:

"Teach the child upon his own way." (Proverbs 22, 6). Treatment and therapy through music and drama are among the children’s favorite therapeutic tools. Magical worlds are opened to the children with the help of professional counselors, allowing them to be professionally treated in unusual ways. In this program, a community theater allows the children to develop their imagination and skills.

7. Sport classes:

"A healthy mind in a healthy body." The purpose of this project is to take care of the children’s health, to raise their self-image and to allow them to relieve stress. Among the sports classes offered are judo, basketball, soccer and more.

8. Culture and Arts:

The children in “Achuzat Sarah" are exposed to a variety of cultural resources from different forms of arts. Our goal is to help the children develop diverse cultural habits, to allow them to discover new worlds and to connect them to creative programs, which will contribute to the shaping of their personalities as adults.

Brothers Sitting Together:

The many events we conduct for the children’s benefit have become one of the highlights of Achuzat Sarah.  Like in every home, we are concerned that the children will enjoy an atmosphere of fun and harmony.  To that end, we conduct parties and many other events for the children’s enjoyment and sense of bonding for both the children and the staff.

Rosh Chodesh Party:

At the beginning of every Hebrew month we conduct a party, held each time by a different group.  Once a month an outstanding student is chosen from each group, and he is given a certificate of excellence in the context of the Rosh Chodesh party.

Knowledge Contests:

Several times a year we conduct knowledge contests in different topics.  Considerable effort is made to produce the contests though the additional knowledge the students gain preparing for these contests is most impressive.

Activities for Adults:

Special cultural enrichment activities are held once a month for adult graduations.  The activities generally include a lecture or activity related to an interesting or current affairs topic .  It’s impressive to see how the youth show interest and participate in activities.

Trip to Eilat:

Every year an excelling student is rewarded with a challenging trip to Eilat.

What Sweeties:
The older girls in Achuza Sarah produce candy skewers which are successfully sold at various events for Purim mishloach manot, bar mitzva parties, etc.  The profits are used for the girls’ enjoyment
